That's easy. Just go diving. You weigh less in the water, so that takes care of the "lose 18 lbs" and the "get more exercise" goals. That is two things off your list, right out of the gate :-)

WIth the whole resolution thing, one is faced with the question of ...

does one live one´s life year to year, or on a continuum that is not reliant on a calender to make changes etc....

but for the fun of it....my resolution for 08 is

1. be nicer to my wife (not that I am not now, just more)
2. stop being a butthead (when not needed)
3. dive at least once a week
4. get Enriched Air cert

happy new years

My New Years Resolution is pretty simple. Dive more! Just started a dive club, so hopefully that will take care of the diving part. Sure, I have things I'd like to do like lose a few pounds, but don't want to go overboard on the resolutions. One thing at a time.

Yeah...Okay Ike, whatever you say.

I would like to get the gut a bit more neoprene friendly.

Make a name for myself at work as the best damn Airframe Mechanic Gulfstream has ever seen.

Dive at least once every 2 weeks

Nitrox for sure

Dude, I have a degree in Philosophy, if I don´t throw stuff like "the continuum" out there I feel like I wasted 4 years of my life......hey wait a minute....I DID waste four years of my life!
