What are you doing for New Years

We were going to go to Gatlinburg, but teh only pet friendly moetl turned out NOT to be pet friendly. So we are staying home.

Buying some kick a** fireworks and setting them off in the lower field
getting cheezy crappy pizza
making popcorn
and renting or buying some movies

They say what you are doing on new yeasr eve you will be doing for teh rest of teh year. Well it was true!
this past 2006-going into 2007 we were out and about and it has been go go go for work ever since that night.
Maybe if we go diving/bowling locally with some friends and then do the new years thing, which is also our anniversary we will be doing more home things...

I tend to stick around the house on New Years Eve. There are just too many other nights to get out and do a bit of partying. It makes me really uncomfortable when I think about the % of drunk drivers on the road on New Years Eve. Don't like the odds.

We're having friends over for our second annual "Not As Young As We Used To Be" New Year's Eve party (6pm-10pm). New Year's Day we're headed to the quarry to dive

New Years Eve we're not doing anything too exciting but I'm diving on New Years Day. I hope my new year will be relaxing with lots of diving, so a good way to start it off.

Choices are a friends house for a small get together, home for a movie, out for a movie, and a first nite celebration that is about a 50 minute drive.

Wife has not picked yet, I don't care what is done, but would like an idea,

I was there in February coming back from a business trip to Greenville, beautiful country over there! We took the back way out over to Alcoa, what an awesome drive. Of course, my dumb @$$ left the camera in the trunk!!

I'll be in bed by 11. I haven't seen the start of a New Year's in years.... I'll be rolling out about 4am to go duck hunting with my buddies... Somewhat of a traditon that I've done for the past 20 years.. Hopefully be whackin' and stackin' some greenheads!

Besides, New Year's eve is "Amatuer Night"!
