what type of dive insurance do most people have? DAN or Dive Assure?

Just wondering

DAN....Dive Assure probably has a good product, but DAN definitely is involved with ongoing medical research that has a direct bearing on the dive community. That's what sold me on it.

Well I'd be careful with that statement. DAN, the 503(c) nonprofit does a lot of research. DAN Insurance is a FOR profit corporation based out of the caribbean, perhaps the cayman islands if my memory is correct. They share a name but are in fact very different.
