Bill Walsh

Bill Walsh, the architect of those great '80s 49ers teams died today at 75. As a New Orleans Saints fan, I despised the 49ers, and by extention, Bill Walsh. It's not like the Saints were competative for most of those years, but ALL the talk always centered on the 49ers. They deserved it though, mainly because of his genius.

Anyway, football lost a great coach, a great man, and a great human being today. Bill Walsh was always a class act. Here's to Bill Walsh. .

Bill Walsh was a man ahead of the game.
His West Coast Offense was Innovative.
Mr.Walsh's nickname was "The Genius"

Without a doubt, Bill Walsh is clearly one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. His achievements during his 10 years as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers are virtually unparalleled in professional sports.

Joe Montana spoke about Bill Walsh after his passing:
For me personally, outside of my dad, he was probably the most influential person in my life. I am going to miss him.

Yes we all are....

Definately a genius. Everyone else passed on Jerry Rice saying his times were too slow.
