Talking a great deal of calmness

we could all use a little more calmness in our lives.

By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.'

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.

Funny. But on a serious note, I cannot respect anyone who watches Dr. Phil. What's next, and Oprah quote? Something you saw on The View?

I had a conversation with a lady instructor one day and the talk got around to a political issue for some reason. When the lady made a comment that she had resolved a question because she had heard a comment from Ellen De Generate I immediately lost all respect for this woman's ability to think for herself. How pathetic can one be?

Thanks Hoobascooba. How can one like Oprah when she had never had a book about scuba diving as part of her book club?
