I always visit that place when I go to South Padre and I try to be generous with donations. They are doing some really awesome work.

My 5-year old daughter can't get enough of that turtle. She thinks he is so brave. She says that she likes him even more than Michelangelo (one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which is her favorite cartoon).

I have to agree with her, he is a very impressive turtle.

I love this story. It's pretty amazing what science can do. It's kinda cool that this turtle could go on if the prosthesis works and help save her own species by making lots of baby turtles. They are an endangered species, so every turtle is important. It's nice that a critter with such a strong fighting spirit is being given the body to live up to that spirit.

i saw something about green sea turtles on discovery HD theater that really touched me, much like this. i like the work these people do. there is also a link to the dolphin prosthetic story on that page.
