Question Liter tanks

Any one have a conversion chart?
I am looking at tanks and {I know this is going to sound so blond and new diver} I don't know PSI or cubic feet or lbs. Here in Germany and Spain, well Europe the tanks are 10 liter, 12 liter, or 15 liter.
Can any one tell me what those are in PSI, CF, or lbs? Is there a difference?

I think learning here in Europe has made me dumb. Or maybe I am just dumb. Or maybe it is just time to come back to the USA when you don't remember how far a mile is. Or you go home for a visit and you order meat at the butcher in grams or kilos and they look at you like you have a fourth eye on your chin.
I had the ST team send my SPG in meters and bar. Cause that is what I learned.

Hugs, love and peace
Euro

If you go to the Luxfer site, on the products/scuba page you can toggle between US Imperial and US Metric. If you use the product number as the reference you can convert the capacities. Hope this helps.

Metric tanks are measured by their internal volume of water. So a 10 liter tank holds 10 liters of water. So just knowing the tank size doesn't mean you know the tanks capacity. You also need to know the bar rating for the tank.

1 liter = .0353 cubic feet

To convert a tank that is 12 liters at 200 bar you multiply 12 * .0353 to get .4237 cubic feet. This is the cubic feet of air when the tank is empty. Then multiply that times 200 (the BAR pressure) to get about 85 cubic feet. I may be off a little, but that should be pretty close.

I tried to find a chart somewhere, but I didn't find any.

BSea, you beat me to it again. Guess that's what I get for sleeping in. Actually, BSea is dead on. That's the conversion formula(s).

I'm still looking online for you, but so far, no luck either.
