Old Alloy Tanks

I have found someone who has some of the old Aluminum Alloy tanks that are currently in Hydro. How much would you all consider paying for these tanks? I have checked with my LDS and they will fill/VIP/Hydro them. I am just looking for a couple of spares to have for air fills. Also, is there any danger in using these tanks with the old Alloy as I know in Florida, a lot of ops will not fill them. (I am not in Florida)

$3, or whatever a doorstop costs these days.

I know you did some research and can get them filled now, but they're not worth the hassle, IMO. The number of shops who won't touch them grows every day.

Free would be the right price.
With a little work they make nice lamps for the den.

An annual Visual inspection is required for all lamps and door stops!

Door stops only of course! Everyone knows that you can't pressurize a lamp!
