I am think about adding another tank to my stable in the next few months and
I was looking at the Worthington HP 130 cf. Steel tank. For those of you that have one, how do you like it and do you use a YOKE or DIN valve connection for your reg. My reg. is about 2 years old so I should be OK with a YOKE. THANKS! |

Love Love Love, my HP 130. I think that it is a great tanks... There is a big swing weight but you get use to that pretty quickly... I really want a few more of them. I think that when ever I am buying more tanks they will be on the top of my list. I use mine now with DIN, but used it for about a year and a half with yoke. You will not have any problems using it with Yoke regs...
If you have the chance to pick one up, or better yet two (may want to double them up down the road) I say go for it. Even if you cannot get a full HP fill you still have plenty of gas. Phil |

closest thing I've used is the PST hp120 steel tanks.... absolutely an awesome tank... negative (be familiar with the swing weight), and tons of air... kinda heavy out of the water, but nice in size...

I really like my 130. I wasn't sure I'd like the extra bulk and weight over my HP 100, but I really haven't even noticed it much. The nice thing though is it generally removes the whole idea of having enough air, I tell my buddies if they are diving 100 or less don't bother asking much air I have, I have plenty.

Weight wise, my lp121 is about the same as a 130, but length wise it's a monster. I am thinking about a pair of HP30's of maybe HP120's for doubles here in the not so distant future.
