The biggest pain is trying to trim the beast out. Even when I have the trim pretty much down, it still wants to turtle a little but. The DR Venture wing helps a lot with the trim due to the trapezoidal shape with more lift at the base. More than hitting my butt, I have problems with it being too close to my head. but it does make it easy to reach the valve. I think a little of my acceptance of the size comes from starting with an AL 80 as a small diver (4'10") when the brand new AL50's fit perfectly.
