Anyway, they passed Vis and Hydro and the insides were clean as could be so that's good. I'll get a chance to lay eyes on them again this weekend and I figure out exactly what they are then.
I bought them for 10 bucks for the both of them so I'm happy even with the cost of hydro and such.
Those are old SCUBA valves that use a nylon or hard rubber washer rather than an o-ring. Very similar to a medical valve but it's not.
True, medical valves have a pin index on the back.

If you measure the ID and OD of the groove, I can probably send you some washers.

I don't own any right now but I'm probably going to buy one in two weekends. LDS is running a special buy the tank from them and they'll fill it free for a year. That works for me!

Ten, total, counting doubles as two tanks, and counting the deco bottle.

Too dang many for one person. I KNOW my wife feels that way.
Let's see, I ditched the LP95 and the LP80 (just not the right tanks for me), and added another HP100. So now I "only" have eight. I need to add another Al.40 at some point (current one is 50%, could use a 100% unit also). And perhaps another HP100 if I double up 2 of the 3 I have now, so I still have a pair available for shore dives. And another HP119 would be handy at times, as would an HP130. Hmmm... MUST STOP!

Hmm, guess I should update. Been a while. Ditched a few, added a few. Sold off the double 80s, picked up an hp130, added a deco bottle and bought some tanks for my wife.

2x Faber HP100s (doubled... not 4 tanks, 1 pair of tanks)
1x Worthington HP130 (mostly for single tank boat dives)
1x Worthington HP119 (mostly for single tank boat dives... on boats with lousy fills and/or no Nitrox, along with the 130)
3x Worthington HP100s (mostly for beach dives)
2x Luxfer Al.40s (deco: 100%, 50%)
and
2x PST HP80s (for my wife)
