No markings on the o-rings... And you only need viton o-rings if you are having your tanks filled with partial pressure filling.

so, Larry, does that mean that the little box of o-rings I got from you guys (big ones and little ones - a box of 10) aren't the right o-rings for a tank valve?

OK, I'm getting conflicting information depending on who I talk to so last night I went up to International Scuba (Sorry Larry, they're right around the corner from me) and got the size 14 o-rings. They are ever so slightly larger than where they seat on the yoke and have to be kind of tucked in just a little bit but I know they are the right size o-ring. That being said apparently I did have the right o-ring on my tank valve when it blew on me at depth but I have had the other o-ring on my tank in the past so the moral of this thread still applies. The big difference I do notice between the ones that come with the kit and the ones I picked up from International is that these new o-rings are much stiffer. I don't know if that helps or not but they certainly feel like they are higher quality o-rings.

Disneymom, I'm sure the correct o-ring size is in the kit you have but it may also have a very similar o-ring that is not correct, just make sure you use the right one.

Sounds like a DIN o-ring vs. a YOKE O-ring?!?!

Similar, but the DIN seems a tad bigger! (shame they don't just make these all standard!)
