Very sorry for the accident. I'm sure the idea of having a broke leg while in "paradise settings" is a bummer at first.
Hopefully the physician will allow some weight less ocean therapy to help recovery.

well, she is doing ok now... still in some pain and some of the stuff isn't working so hot... she is being tough though... starts therapy tomorrow even though she is in a cast... starting with crutches and things to do to keep her as mobile as possible... best I can tell from the x-rays, there are two long screws, three pins or smaller screws, and some assortment of plates...

OUCH!!!

That's the fracture I was thinking she might have. I see those about 5-6 time a year around here. About the same type of mechanism as well. Pour on the narcotics (for at least a week) and the antibiotics.
