Snagel

I got a bell...
You may want to supplement it with one of those dog training electic shock collars...

Get well.

My dad broke his leg about 3 years ago and is still recovering. A 35ft I-beam was knocked loose on a construction site and fell over, bouncing once and finding its final resting place on my dad's leg. Compound fracture of his femur. He has since had to relearn to walk and still has a small limp.

He is getting along great though, and thank goodness it did not hit him anywhere major.

Good luck with recovery!

UPDATE:

I got the cast off on Tuesday. The doc said that it is healing nicely. The bones are still broken but just hairline fractures now. They put me in a walking cast and said that I am allowed to put a little bit of weight on it and to try to start moving it around. I get to start therapy on Monday. A little apprehensive about that but we will see how that goes.

Thanks for everyones support and advice. I really appreciate it!

I vote for aquatherapy too! Glad to know the healing is going nicely...hope you can start diving soone. Might I suggest talking to DAN about diving after the break?

I probably wont be able to dive for a while longer, but I have already thought about asking DAN about diving. I have done some research on it and so far it looks like the biggest thing is that I am going to be at a higher risk for DCS. Not something that I am happy about, but there haven't been any reported cases yet that I can find. I don't plan on rushing it in any way, but I would like to get into the water soon. Aqua therapy is definitely something I am going to look into.
