Diving Ear Drum Tear
Dive buddy just posted this on our local site.
 Injured..Weird? Did 2 deep dives last Sat.24th too 130ft and it appears I have ruptured my left eardrum. Don't know how? Equalized fine ascending and descending. Felt a little like I had water in my ear on the boat after but thought it would clear. Over the past 4 days loss of hearing and increase in ringing to the point of calling DAN and going to ER. NO PAIN but a small tare. On antibiotics and no getting it wet until healed. Then follow up exam. Hearing loss may or may not be permanent. Hospital to claim DAN but may have to do it myself if bill comes to me. Hope I am well enough to do the Last Echo dive! Otherwise its up to you all to win the house boat!
