Dangerous river diving

http://www.thestar.com/News/article/257681
This is kind of a wierd article. It sounds like these guys hit a wirl pool. Man their are some serious dangers every time we hit the water especially rivers.

Wow that is pretty strange! I grew up where the Mississippi and the Rock river merge together in western Illinois and was always told that if you get caught in an eddy the worst thing to do is fight to get to the surface. I always understood that if you wait it will shoot you up to the top, of course you better hope you had a lungful of air to be able to wait!

This is weird , i mean who would dive in a river that might reverse its flow, if they knew about it i'm sure the would have called the dive. The local government should have posted it in areas were they know that people swim and dive.

I think that warning signs should have been out the day of the test.

this is horrible... the fact that no signs were posted in the area so divers and swimmers were made aware of the situation about to unfold. However, we all know that people get hurt due to many factors and rarely just one. anyway I hope they find the divers so the families can have ome closure... horrible!
