there was never a 100% conclusion as to what happened, but some people say the see a shark near the end of the vid when the guy is on the sand... others say carelessness... your guess is as good as any!

Whatever it was it sends a chill down your spine watching something like that. Same as when the chief played a video when i was doing my forestry fire fighting course and it showed when a whole team of hot shots and a smoke jumper got wiped out by flames on storm king mountin in the states. Its never good to see someones last moments on tape like that and seeing them suffer like Yuri did, just hope we can all learn from this and dive safe.
