The first court report (or pre court report) was on TV over here the other night.
Not sure how well my memory has retained it but I think I remeber the following bits that struck me as "ewww". Looks like she may have suffered O2 deprivation before swallowing any water. One of the other divers in the group is giving evidence that they saw her being "bear hugged" by another diver. Office talk round here is about some other odd behavour by the husband at her grave - but I didn't see any reports on that so I'll keep quiet about it. |

Methinks there's more to this than what the media is saying. I have seen the evil that some men do, so things like this don't necessarily surprise me, but still...
It could be that the hubby did watch too much CSI and thought he had a fool proof plan. Or it could be the reverse: He had no ulterior motives and he had no intentions of harming his wife. Acting odd at at graveside service really means nothing to me as I have seen both ends of the spectrum from family members at funerals. The fact is that some folks grieve in different ways. A misconstrued greiving has led to many an investigation that yielded no suspicious activity. I was at one funeral where the wife of the deceased showed little emotion at the service which led to the husband's relatives accusing her of his death-he died in an auto accident 3 states away. Why was she so stoic? She was so overwhelmed and distraught she didn't respond to anything-when the dams burst, she had to be sedated. I guess further details will hopefully follow. |
