Angry Florida East Coast Red Tide

Just got back from a BRIEF walk on the beach...Red Tide is awful...coughed almost to the point of pucking! Dead fish all over. It's been with us over 2 weeks with no end in sight!

Still have some remnants of red tide on the gulf coast of florida as well. Was a lot worse earlier in the year. now it's pretty much confined to bays. Need a couple of really good storms to get rid of it.

Just heard about it yesterday.
Couple of friends went up coast to surf. Said it is unbearable. One of the guys is an Aussie. Spent a week on Long Island then came down here for his second week. Nice memory to take back "Down Under". Although he did enjoy taking pictures of my bird . (Thanksgiving turkey)

This was a time of great Adventure

I can't recommend finishing his degree enough. I was enlisted for 3 years before I got picked up for a commissioning program and I hate to say it but the Officer side is so much better. With only 3 semesters left I would be putting in for every program he is eligible for and still continue on his own while he is waiting. It will be very worth it. Especially if he gets aviation!
