Croatia diving?

So has anyone done any diving in Croatia? I may get to go to Dubrovnik in June for a conference (following the New Zealand disaster I won't hold my breath... in the water or on the surface), and have applied to take a few extra days while I'm there.

Is it worth packing the dive gear, or should I just be a tourist for a few days?

You will have to let me know. I have a buddy out there right now and he says the wreck diving is really good. I know he has dived several WWII wrecks and said the viz is usually 40-60 feet.
