Question about two dive sites in Grenada and Dominica
We are heading to Dominica and Grenada in November. We have diving lined up on both islands, but I have questions about two particular dive sites at each island that seem to be a tad too commercial. I wanted to know if either of these dives is worth doing. I am considering NOT doing either, but thought I'd see what other divers who have been there thought.
Suzi 1. Dominica: Champagne Reef Is it possible to dive this site from shore? If so, is there a dive operation close to the beach where you can rent tanks? I have been searching on the internet, and all I have been able to come up with is a place where you can rent snorkel gear. But I thought I read some where that this was a shore dive; I don't want a guide. 2. Grenada: UW Sculpture Park We have a 2 tank dive scheduled to go to this site - from what I understand the dive operation will take us to a wreck before we check out the sculpture park and a dive along a reef. Is this dive better than doing a two tank reef dive. I know it's a popular place, seems almost a bit too touristy. |

Go to Moliniere and see the sculptures. You'll enjoy it far more than you think you will, since a dry description doesn't do it justice. The group I was with liked the dive immensely. PPM |
