Thumbs up Costa Rica

Hey divers,

I am new on this board, and I live in Costa Rica, but after browsing around I saw that there is not much information about Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is a growing destination, especially the Guanacaste area is growing rapidly for diving.
check out the CRDP, the Association of Costa Rica Dive Professionals. We make Costa Rica a safe dive destination. site and see how we formed an organization that is all about quality. Right now more dive centers from different places are waiting permission to join. When you dive in Costa Rica go with a dive center with this logo, it will be safe and fun.
If you want to know anything about the diving here, let meknow because it's AWESOME! Don't skip Costa Rica

I stopped there on a cruise last year. My wifes work may take us there again so we are waiting for her job to pick up some of the expenses until we really get to see it. That way we'll also have some of the people she works with as local guides.

I've been to San Jose only, from my understanding, it is pretty difficult to make a connection there to the coast due to severe weight restrictions.

Perhaps you could off some advice; ship gear ahead of time, rent a car in San Jose...

Welcome to the board!

PURA VIDA!!!

Did the tropical storm on the Pacific side effect you? Everything ok?

All your questions, I'm afraid, will never be answered--from what I see of this post (the first and last from this person), it was placed on the board only to promote the organization referenced in that posting. Further backing for my opinion is that when clicking on the name for the forum profile, you'll find no background info on the poster at all.

I call these kinds of posts "a typical drive-by spamming" which happens on special-interest boards throughout the Internet and like environs.
