ST Forum Flower Gardens trip on M/V Spree Aug 1, 2, 3

I was perusing the Spree's calendar today and noticed that they have half of their boat reserved for ST Forum. Is anyone from the shop going? How about anyone from this board?

The captin of the Spree offered to set aside spots for the ST Forum if a group wanted to go.
This is prime diving time in the Flower Gardens right before the coral spawn. The water should be warming up nice as well and this is the time Whale Sharks are frequently spotted as well as Manta Rays....

This will be the first open dive trip after the Spree returns from the Dry Tortugas and should be a great trip.

I have spoke with the Captin and the booking agent about the details. If anyone is interested or has questions PM me.

Interesting, nothing is on the ST trips page.

I would volunteer to investigate this further, but I am on the Spree for the Labor Day Flower Garden trip with zendiving.

Joe tried to book the trip for September but could not get the dates. August 1,2,3 was the only available that did not already have a group or shop booked. The Spree splits open bookings and a group of some type per trip unless you book the whole boat.

The Labor Day trip would be great as well but have to make plans with the family.

I was going to post the trip to let everyone know but you beat me to it.

Edit: I just paid for my trip!! Can't wait... The trip reports from 07 look really good and the water temps in the mid 80's!!

I need to just make sure of a couple of things on the calendar over the next few weeks, but I'm 99% sure I'm going.

I'd be interested in car pooling -- of course we won't fit in my car, but I could take my son's Altima and leave him the Z4 for the weekend

b/t/w good luck at Rescue Class next weekend -- I trust the weather will be better than "fair Georgia's" class from last month.
