Flower Gardens Shark Video!!
A friend of mine from the Houston (Scot Patterson) area sent a link to his video shot on his Flower Gardens trip the other week on the MV Spree, it is really cool.
 I have invited him to sign up for the ST Forum trip Aug. 1,2,3 to the Flower Gardens and bring his video equipment! Link to ST Forum Flower Gardens Trip: http://www.spreeexpeditions.com/Default.asp?ds=ScubaToys+Forum+Trip This is some video that I shot this past weekend. The shark footage was on an offshore rig. I have never seen this many sharks on that rig before. They were all around the outside of the structure. A few would wander inside periodically. You'll see them on the clip. I also included some cool stuff from the Saturday morning and Sunday morning dives at the Flower Gardens and Stetson Bank. When I upload to a site like this, it tends to reduce the video quality somewhat. Hope you enjoy. Here is the link: http://www.vimeo.com/1008496

ST Forum Trip Aug. 1,2,3

If I can get Scot to go I am sure we could video the dives and burn some DVD's for everyone!! What species of shark are those? Kinda look like Silky sharks but I never saw any close enough to make more of a distinction.
