Levels must be dropping because I saw some green algae growth at 15'. There are some small minnow-size fish in there, but the main attractions are a few sunken boats, the quarry 'wall', some trestles, and a few improvised junk sculptures made on the bottom (27'-30'). There are also a few underwater platforms that are mainly used for certifications.

Living an hour away I have a few dives here, most of my training and some just for blowing bubbles( lucky bubbles)anyway yes this is alot like Athens, with no aquatic life the water clouds up really fast on week-ends with all the OW classes, get there early on Sat. or during the week for better vis. if your close this is a nice get away, not something to travel long distances for, twin lakes or 288 lakes would be a better dive, same vis but plenty of marine life(fish) just my .02
