i think it is kinda like "Island Time" - heard the term several times when we were done there last summer - I think it is contracting the easy going mentality that most residents of the area have - and maybe not wanting to come back to the real world

Nice location to easily access Key Largo and Islamorada. You probably already saw the weather forecast for the week ... there will be some rain, and the weather service is cautioning that there is lightning potential offshore.
