I'd like to update my post for the Turks & Caicos Aggressor 8/16-8/23.
I've got one spot open in the quad room. The price for the room is $800!! This is a last-minute offer as I really need to sell this spot. You would need to secure your own airfare to Providencials (lot's of carriers fly there). You would be rooming with 3 great guys and the trip promises to be great fun with an experienced group of divers. Great price and I would jump on it instantly! BUT I am planning a trip with my gf to San Fran in that same week....

Damn I might have to jump on this. Been on that boat back 2004 when it was relatively new and hadn't crashed into the reef yet. Remember the diving being pretty decent for the Caribbean.

yeah, this same group was on it in 2004 when Frances came through. I didn't know this boat had crashed into the reef?

I think it was in 2006 it crashed into the reef coming back into port and was out of commision for a few months. It's a very narrow channel and it was really windy and the boat went into the reef. Nobody was hurt from what I remember. I'm sure when you are on the boat you can ask them about it.

I was on the Komodo Dancer coming into Bali in Sept of 2005 and they ran the boat onto a sandbar about an hour from port. We had to have a tugboat come out and pull us off. No major damage though and they went out the next trip.

Asked the misses and although she was very excited she quickly reminded me the plane tickets and hotel accommodation's were non-refundable. I grumbled and walked away.

Darn, I would love to go, but the guys couldn't handle me, or do I have that backwards. keep me in mind for last minute things.
