Cool Philippines bound!

My long awaited trip for the Philippines starts today. My flight isn't till almost 6pm so it will be a long day but I'm excited. I'll be visiting two different areas: Puerto Galera and Dumaguete. A week at each. At both places I'm staying at the Atlantis resort. Diving Philippines - Atlantis Dive Resorts, Dumaguete and Puerto Galera, Philippines Sure hope I don't have a typhoon(huricane). Also hope everyone is safe from Ike.

My wife is from the Philippines and one of these days I'm going to make the trip with her when she goes for a visit. I really want to dive at Puerto Galera, with a trip to Verde Island.

Have a great trip.

The trip includes a day diving at Verde and two days diving at Apo along with all the other diving. Glad to hear there isn't a Typhoon just hope it stays that way. I'll be there for two weeks. I'll definitely do a trip report upon return.

They haven't taken it yet and I'll just keep on hoping they don't. That would be a real bummer.

Okay lets all here for the TSA!!!!!!!

Got to Atlantis and my TSA lock was red which meant my bag was opened. There was no note saying the bag was searched but since the lock hand gone from green to red and my stuff was rearranged I knew it had been. But and this is the bad part my wing wasn't in it :-(. Seems they took stuff out to search it and the wing wasn't replaced. Luckily I can rent one here but now I don't have a wing. I use to have a nice DiveRite Travel Wing. Don't know if it's in Denver or LA or somebody elses bag but it sure wasn't in mine. Thanx TSA you bunch of losers.
