TSA locks

Has anyone used TSA locks on international flights? I know they are okay in the US but was wondering if they would be cut in another country or if they will allow them.

I've had them on international flights and they haven't been cut, yet.

same here, I use the ones that have a green slide to them that tells me that they haven't been opened. They will turn red when someone has entered so if I do not see the TSA "we have inspected you bag" paper then I know that something is up.

Naw, I think you'll be okay. After all, mine were purchased in the Kansai airport in Osaka. If you're going really off the beaten path, like to Cambodia or somewhere like that, you may consider not using them if you're afraid of them getting hacked.

I have never had them cut off international but I have had them cut off on domestic flights by the TSA agents with keys. You have to file a claim to get them paid for by the TSA unless you create a huge stink at the airport where you notice them missing. From first hand experience if you call the airport police and report the bags broken into and show the TSA lock and key you will get new ones from the out-of-work bill collectors that the TSA has hired. (I am not bitter just a very frequent flier who has had it done on more than one occassion.)

Glad I clicked on this link, I didn't know about TSA locks. Clearly this means I should be traveling much more often .
