get there early as parking gets crowded.

water temp will still be chilly below the thermocline. below the 2nd thermocline it's just downright cold.

The third thermocline is even worse. Ditto on the crowds, though two weeks ago it wasn't too bad.

dove there during DUI's dog day demo trials. My one and only time in a drysuit, quarry and cold water.
Aint nothing to see, drive farther south and go in the Gulf. Still not much to brag about but lots more than a dang quarry.
