Dhab Egypt trip

My brother & I just got back from diving at Dahab Egypt w/ Dive Urge. It was fantastic. The sites were full of fish and coral. The dive operator were great. Would recommend the area as it was not crowded. All level of diving is available. It is all shore diving. The drop offs are really close in.
Am planning on going back as we didn't get to go to all the sites in a week.
If planning a trip I would recommend that you stay with the lower ratio of guide to divers operators. I saw some gruops of ten to twelve. Our largest was 5 to 1 at a national park. we were the only divers there.

That sounds awesome! I want to go to Egypt so badly. What would you say was the best dive that you got in over there?

Ras a Galum national prk was probably the best with tree pools being next. We saw pristine coral and fish every time we entered the water. We saw octpi during the day at serval differnt sites. No rays or large Moray eels. Our guide said that was strange as he saw them all the time. Even the Lighthouse which is used as a training site was good once you got to the wall. My brother has dove at Sharm and said it was wall to wall divers. We talked with a couple from Belgum and they said Hurgaga was barren of coral & fish unless you did a live aborad. Hope this helps.
