Please vote and tell me why you voted that way. Please take in mind money and reef and overall things to do.

I've only been to Cozumel. Great drift diving on Dec 20th of this year. I don't know how great the diving is in Hawaii is but I'm pretty sure the travel cost is more.

How would you travel and how long would you stay?

Never dove in Hawaii -- I would have to assume that lodging is cheaper in Cozumel than in Hawaii. The two times I've been in Hawaii the hotel prices were a large portion of the expense. Food is also more expensive in Hawaii.

Also, airfare from Dallas seems cheaper to CZM than to any of the Islands.

But if you are flying from the west coast that might be a different situation.

Hawaii is very expensive to fly to and to stay and eat at. Also, the dive prices are a lot more than Coz. I've been to Hawaii multiple times and it is beautiful and fun, but for a great dive vacation where you get the most for your money-it's Cozumel hands down!

I had to choose Cozumel. I'll take a the place with the least tourists everytime. And 90% of the time the cost will be a lot less, too, as it is with this case.

Hawaii is so expensive.....have to go with Coz. Set up more for diving and less $$$. Actually, an even better bang for your buck is to stay on Riveria Maya side and take the ferry over to Coz - even cheaper.

You can probably go to Coz twice for what it would cost you to go to Hawaii once. However, I would still want to go to Hawaii at least once in my lifetime.
