Hotel in Key Largo...?

Hi,

I did a search here for diving in the Keys. Seems to me the majority of you like Key Largo. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a Hotel with diving close by...... is that an oxymoron lol I'm 45 and single if that helps. I'm going down in Sept. Any help would be appreaciated...

Danny

Pelican might be a good option for you - if its just you..I know of some bigger condos but it might b a bit overkill for you..Money saved for more diving! Ill be there this weekend - we'll be camping out in the state park!

We've stayed twice at the Marina del Mar and been pretty happy both times. I't not fancy but its clean. The rooms have tile floors and larger mini-refrigerators. They also have ceiling fans and good air conditioners. The hotel provides continental breakfast every morning, but it's a little on the light side.

We stayed at the Suites at Key Largo and it was great. Go though Silent World for a discount. It is a little roomy for just 2 people but it has a full kitchen and two bathrooms, which comes in great for rinsing out gear and general cleaning up.

Thanks for all the replies... sorry for the delay responding.

cutter77 I'm going alone

I was checking out the Marriott.... and It's A Dive DS, which is supposed to be located in the Hotel. Seems like a nice place with a dive boat just downstairs. They have a package that you have to book through the DS and a STD non view room is $99 with a 3 Trip Reef Dives, thats $195. Anyone hear of this DS? Thanks again for all the replies....
