Its very hard to get any diving information on this port in Guatamala. One Google search shows a hotel with dive shop. Planning on diving in Cozumel, Belize and Majahual, but would appreciate any input or information on this port.

If it's hard to find info on a port your visiting, it's usually better to stick with the ship's excursion. You don't want to leave too much to chance when you have to be back on the ship on time.

We're cruising in April and diving in Cozumel and the Caymans. I've done both while cruising before and feel comfortable there going on our own. We have no plans to dive in Key West or Dominican Republic.
