I dove with them on my first SCUBA trip in 12/06. No complaints, except some of their rental gear was well used (several spg's failed in our group over the week), which shouldn't be any probelm if you own your own gear. I preferred the big boats to the fast boats, lots of room to move around, and enjoy the trip out/in and SI, also if you go with the big boats, you get afternoon dives from some of the resorts.

I took a trip this past summer and used Dive Paradise, I had a great time and no complaints. I did have my own gear so I can't speak for their rentals, but the staff and dive masters were very helpful and friendly from my experience. As dannybot mentioned, they run bigger boats (as opposed to fast boats) which is worth mentioning.

Just the differences between people, I don't like the bigger "cattle" boats and prefer pangas. To each his/her own. BTW, Dive Paradise offers smaller faster boats for a little extra money and finagling.

They also have a couple big fast boats: Tango, Atlantis, Couquetta

try divewithmartin.com they are really good. they setup your gear for you everytime. in between dives they take your bcd and pass it to the someone onboard. this person then changes out your tank right away and you are set for your next dive. they pick you up at your resort. they are very reasonably priced as well. and if you need it, gear is included with your diving price.

If it´s just you and your brother, there´s some dive centers that work together with small hotels and offer dive packages at reasonable prices. I could recommend you to look into Blue Angel Dive Shop, they´re very professional and they have a nice small hotel right next to them with their own pier and snorkeling area, as well as a restaurant at the dive center. But if there´s non-diving people with you, probably a bigger hotel is better.
