So, whats your favorite

travel tip you've learned.....

Mine is to know the airport codes for my destination. Knowing this, you glance at your luggage during check in to make sure it's tagged properly, in the last 5 yrs, saved me 3 x's so far.

Always carry the essentials in a carry on: Change of underwear, shaving kit, socks, reg and computer. The rest can be got when you get there.

You don't need 80% of the crap you just packed.

What are these under ware, shaving kit and socks things you speak of?

Underwear-things are a little too free with out it, never could go commando. Shaving kit-mask fits better, also have my meds and just in case stuff in there too.

use one of those nerdy passport/boarding ticket holders around your neck-you have all ID and stuff needed readily since you have to show it about a hundred times just to get on the plane and there's no chance of losing it-plus you can keep a couple bucks in it so you don't have to reveal how much cash you actually are carrying if you need to buy something(drinks on the plane/taxi after landing)

Check in on-line at exactly the 24 hour mark so we can grab the exit row seats.
