Muck stick group trip!

Linda, just read a short but great trip report on SB from Chucks friend in CO about Buyat Bay. I'm thinking for 2010 of doing Fiji in November and then doing Indonesia in late Dec/Jan. I would probably do a 3 to 4 week trip doing Bali/Lembeh-Buyat Bay and Raja Ampat on the Antares. So if you can only do 2 weeks I'll meet up with the group along the way.....Just a thought....but I think a good one

Sounds like a plan... if we all wind up going to that area for the trip. I'm right in the middle of putting together a quick Belize trip from 10/3 -10/10 for myself and a non-diver friend... the package I'm working on includes 5 days of either 2 tank boat dives (upgradeable to 3 tank dives to turneffe or glover atolls for $60 a day) or 5 days of inland tours or any combination of dives and tours. Right now it looks like $1695pp for the all inclusive package... when I get a firmed up quote and availability I'll post it in case there are others that want to come along. Great for couples where one dives and one doesn't!

Then I promise to get to work on the muck stick trip!
Will check out Buyat-Bay. Would love to do Raja Ampat.... have already bookmarked the antares on my computer.

Belize....hmmmm...been there before was not to impressed. Where are you looking to stay? area?....I do want to get wet before November.

Looking to stay in the Dangriga area.... at either Hamanasi or Belizean Dreams.

I have been to Belize twice... first time stayed on Ambergris but a major storm came through and was only able to dive two days. Did the blue hole and turneffe atoll. Diving on the atoll was excellent

The second time I stayed at Glovers Atoll but my luggage was sent to Miami... only got to dive 3 days but diving was great.

I'm hoping that the 3rd time will be the lucky charm... and the southern area is really supposed to be quite excellent. One of the deals I am looking at allows you to upgrade to dive the atolls which I would do for 2 dive days.

Will keep you up to date on what I come up with... the more the merrier.

Think about that Indonesia itinerary for 2010.

Bugs are always horrible throughout there and the bay islands!

Will begin working on the 2010 trip as soon as I am done getting this one set up.
