Count me as a possible, too.

A lot depends on where we go and whether or not my non-diving hub can sleep comfortably. (6'5") I always leave him home for dive trips but over Christmas no can do.

I'll watch this thread also for a possible Fiji trip, I've got a timeshare on Denarau Island that I've yet to see.

I would not mind doing Fiji on the Naj'a LOB that goes into the Bligh waters but in late March (water is still warm).....Doing Fiji in December or January is rolling the dice as late Nov starts the Typhoon season.

So Linda you can count me out of Fiji and Anilao (water to cold) for Dec/Jan.....But Rangiroa/Fakarava, PNG (eastern fields) or parts of Indo like Ambon and Raja that have 83-85 degree water....I'll plan on it....I hope with the group

We'll see. We signed her up for a class yesterday, and she starts her classwork and first pool session next Friday! WOOT!

Anything involving a boat is 100% off the table for her, though. VIOLENTLY seasick. I'd prefer a LOB, personally, but that's definitely not in the cards if she's along.

I am sure that your wife will get the bug,,, if not in the pool, then when she does her first open water dive and sees everything you've been talking about all these years.

I am a warm water diver as well so guess we will have to find a place where the water temps are in the 80's... shouldn't be too difficult!!

I tend to get seasick on LOB but wear a transderm patch the first day or two until my sealegs kick in and then I"m fine.
