Any issues with the government being over thrown in a coup ? I have a good friend that built a house on a lot he bought from CoCo View. We are talking about going down in early fall.

The government was not over thrown. The congress and the military had to remove the sitting president that was close to end of term because he thought he could change the constitution to allow him to remain in office witch would have been against thier current laws.

Everything appears to be fine, I will be there the first of August so if I don't come back you will know that I was wrong.....

Sure..... but if I don't come back you would have to come get it. If you could give me a lift back to the states that would be good too.

I have heard the same thing and that the only change is a couple more guys with guns at the airport.

Anyone care to weigh in with an opinion on whether or not it is a good idea to plan on going to Roatan in early Aug? I have been invited to join a group at Coco View and would LOVE to go, but , wonder at how much sense it makes. DAN World Cue advises to avoid "unnecessary travel"
