The general consensus is that Unexso is good and by far the most convenient but it is a little pricey. (two-tanks $99). We're paying $50-60 for a boat trip out of Fort Lauderdale, not including tanks. Tanks run about $10 each.
So depending on what gear Unexso includes with their trips that price may not be too bad. The other thing is they work a lot with cruise ships so understand you have to be back to your boat by a certain time. |

Just some food for thought.....
If you book the dive trip through the cruise line, they will wait for you and/or make arrangements for you to catch up to the boat if you miss it. If you book the dive trip through a local op and miss the boat you are pretty much hosed and better get your credit card out to catch the next port or go home. Snagel |

I dove with Unexso several years ago and they seemed to have a very well run, friendly staffed operation. Even further back than that, our cruise ship used them for the snorkeling excursion. You may pay a little more using them, but honestly I think you'll find it to be worthwhile.

It's very important to book with reputable providers if choosing private excursions. |
