We're Nekton fans. 7 trips so far. Best diving so far "Medio Reef". Unless you count the Mayaguana exploritiory trip we did in April. This one might top them all. Pristine reefs and walls + one of the best shore excursions ever.

We enjoyed our two trips on the Pilot. The food was good and filling, but not gourmet. Rooms were plenty roomy, we had a pretty full boat but didn't feel crowded, was always a place to get away from it all. The staff we drew both times were terrific as were the captains. Did nitrox but it was a little unreliable and would probably skip it next time since the pool was always open and we were able to ensure suitable SI's. It's a good deal, we'll go again when they offer a new itinerary.

Only thing I can say is that besides the diving being excellent, the crew doing a great job, and the boat being very roomy, the boats are steel working dive boats....thus not always as "pretty" as a yacht. You'll find areas of some rust and some places will look worn. BUT that has never affected any of our trips and being US flagged means they have to pass rigorous USCG inspections, which should be good peace of mind.
ditto... 2 trips, Bahamas Cay Sal Banks and Medio Reef, excellent trips and would do them again. We did nitrox the first trip and it was over 30% every time, the second trip it was inoperable. Ditto the USCG inspection, too.

Regarding Indonesia when was the last time you were there? when was the last time you did some great diving? like Palau, Christmas Island, Rangiora, Raja Ampat etc?...LOL...LOL!
I've never been to Indonesia. I'm part of the laboring underclass. If I were a rich capatilist type, I'm sure I would have a much better dive resume.

Christmas Island. Never.
Rangiora. Never.
Raja Ampat. Never. (refer to the laboring underclass statement earlier.)

Palau. Once. About a year ago. And hopefully again in about a year.

No I don't and Howard is far from my best friend but you wouldn't know that.
