Couchsurfing

Anybody ever go on a trip and use a Couchsurfing location for their stay? I'm thinking of it for my RTW trip.

Never heard of that. Interesting. Like being a forgien exchange traveler. Would be weird for me, but a pretty cheap way to stay and see the world.

neat concept, a good way to actually experience a different place. i think too many times we go to places stay in a hotel on the beach and say we've experienced it. this could be a great way to experience real, local everyday life.

I don't think I'd do it, but it's a cool concept.
