This is my virginal post so go easy on me, please.
I'll be in Coz on the above dates, staying at the Caribe Blu and diving with Blue Angel. It's my first trip to Coz and I'm already in countdown mode for the trip. I'll have my wife with me and she doesn't dive, can't swim, and stays out of the sun. Will there be anyone there from ST with companions who are likewise aquatically challenged? Any suggestions for activities for her that will allow me quality bottom time? |

Hand her your money and tell her to go shopping...........
There are activities but I do not know if she would be the type to set off on her own. If all else fails relax and read a book. Tell her to stay out of the Tattoo shops on the north end of the square.. ![]()

Yup, if she likes to shop she's on the right island. So many shops she won't be able to see them all and it's quite safe to wander around down town.
With that said, she's missing out on the best part of Coz., the diving!

If she likes hiking, there are jungle hikes that wouldn't be too sun-filled. There are a million travel sites, of course, but check Cozumel Insider - Cozumel MX - Activities, Accomodations, Trip planning and so much more... for some ideas.

There is a spa almost across the street and maybe 300 yrds to the south of Caribe blu! Have her tour the Discover Mexico Park (replicas of the major Myan ruins), go to San Gervasio, which is Coz's very own ruin. Does she golf?
There is also the option of the cheezy submarine, a way to tour a reef without every getting wet. (can you say...why bother?) All in all, she'll keep busy, and you'll get to blow bubbles! |
