Non-Indonesian Photo's

Hi all.

I noticed that alot of people that have been posting their excellent photos have one thing in common. Almost everyone is showing off there Indonesian photo collection. Why is that? Isn't there any decent subjects locally where they dive?
It not that I am complaining it more like I am interested in subjects which I do not get a chance to see or to dive with (North of the Equator).

Regards Aussie

Well, the diving in Kentucky is pretty much lakes & rock quarries. The water from 20' and above gets fairly warm but the water below the thermocline (~ 20 ffw) gets cold. Also, there is not a whole lot to see. Therefore, I seldom dive in my "backyard". Usually only to check out / test new gear. We have a few fish:

Within a couple of hours, I can be in the Caribbean. Warm, clear water is for me.

Also, all of the angelfish shots in my thread below are from the Caribbean.

Maybe someday I can live where there is good / great diving.

Dave
