30CF Pony w/ Beuchat reg

I have decided to sell my pony setup, since i havent used it in the last 2-3 years. It is an AL30 original manu date was 97. I am sending it in for hydro, and expect it back Mid next week. The reg might need to be serviced (sine it hasnt in a few years), However, I have not had a problem with it (just my legal requirement ) I have to double check this, but i believe it has a console stye pressure gauge (might have moved that to another rig) I will take pictures of this in the next day or so and get them up. I am asking $200 Shipped. If local in MI, $170. If interested let me know.. It has an older style Ring Clamp and aluminum mount on it. The pictures will explain it better, but im at work. I forgot to say it has a Sherwood First stage, for cold water divers.

It will not come with VIP since the Valve will be removed for shipping.

Might be willing to trade...but i dont need BC, Regs, gauges...Maybe Camera setup, or?

FWIW, you can ship with the valve on as long as the pressure is <500psi, but only using ground services. We send our pony bottles to wherever we are diving, then send them back after we are done diving.

I was told by ups that with the valve in and any pressure in it, I have to declare it as a pressurized tank putting it into a different class. I wasnt going to take a chance. The place i get my tank hydro'd doesnt do VIP's as they are use to doing fire department tanks. My LDS would do a VIP, but isnt real local to where my diving stuff currently is

Makes sense with the vip being a pain to get. As for shipping pressurized cylinders, I just shipped to to florida and back up, but with low pressure in them, and declared them as scuba cylinders, no problems. FWIW, ST sends the cylinders to their customer with the valve on via UPS. The only way that you can run into issues with UPS is if you want to ship by a method other than ground.

Good luck with selling the cylinder, I'd be interested but I just bought a 30 last nov and can't justify another right now.

not at this point, as I have no use for the rest if the bottle is gone....if i decide to part, then i will repost. If someone is interested in the rest, then they can post here i guess and we can work it out.

I am a UPS driver and you can ship with valve on by ground only. If you ship by air you must remove the valve. I would only put a couple of hundred lbs in it to save on weight and shipping charges.
