FEATURES:
2000 of these in the world. Do you deserve one of them?

A new fabric utilizing a woven aluminum thread assures the ultimate in durability. The Morphos Arm Chair design gives this BC maximum comfort above or below the surface, and the patented Air Trim system makes controlling your buoyancy effortless.

And if you want to keep reading to prove how very cool it is, here are all of the patents Mares holds on this one BC, which will make you the coolest diver on the block!
  • Cocoon concept
  • Armchair buoyancy bag design
  • New backpack protection, which can be used in two positions. A special add-on makes it possible to adjust the thickness and height of the padding to suit the diver's needs
  • Integrated weights with mechanical release system (MRS)
  • Mesh covered backing to reduce resistance to forward movement
  • Air trim system: perfect buoyancy control, great safety and increased comfort during the dive.

Larry is in a price war...he just dropped the price for a new one to $250. Geez, now I know why there is a used section, so he can sell more new stuff!

Yea, that BC hit the market as a $850 BC. Then when the other shops were not doing too good selling them, I bought all that Mares had... about 650 that were delivered to the US. Then we sold them off for around $500. We ran out of XL first, then L, then M, and now we just have a few smalls left - so we dropped the price just to clear the SKU out of inventory.

But they are pretty nice - people seemed to like them. Black-Gorrilla just had a taste of the DIR Kool Aide so now it's back plate for him - so away goes his BC. Next thing you know he'll wrap a hose around his neck and tape the split up in his split fins!

Ahhhhh... I was going to buy that one over the Avid that I just bought, but it used to be $50 more - didn't want to plunk the extra money. Should have waited... HA! Oh well, we have been happy with the Avid - especially for the money!

I have one that I got from Larry last year around December.
I love it, it is a BCD that you can tuck in around you tight as a glove. The Airtrim is a great feature reminds me of natures wakeup call in bed in the morning as you descend, just before the wife slams you in the back with her elbow and you have that morning chuckle.

The weird things on it is the way in which the back of the bladder sits too far back and the coverall that has to be folded back and rolled up.

It has a lot of D Rings and large pockets for most of your gear. I regret having not brought the LE Reg but I already had a Mares Metal so...

The LE Fins, well they seem very expensive for what they are and Ill stick with my Volos Fullfoot and V16.

All in all I love it.

This is pretty nice BC, I had my eye on this one when I was planning to buy my BC, but when I tried on at ST it did not fit me that good. If I am not wrong then it has some really cool features where you can flip a hood like thing which is attached to BC and works as a bag to carry the BC.
I ended up with ORANGE BC, its best on fit of all that I had tried.
