Double Tank Set - Worthington X-119s

I'm selling a doubles set of Worthington X8-119 HP (high pressure - 3442 psi) scuba tanks. Each tank is 120 cu ft. The set has a Thermo HP rated manifold (230 bar/3442 psi), with isolator, 200 bar type DIN valves with removable yoke Pro valve inserts, and Diverite 4" bands. The tanks and manifold are O2 service. The set includes the manifold plugs so that the set can be separated and used as 2 singles. The tanks are hot galvanized exterior finish.

The hydro date on the tanks is 08-06. The VIP is current. And the tanks have a fresh fill of 18/30 trimix in them that hasn't been touched. The tanks have been in the water less than 25 times and always in fresh water, never salt water.

I bought the tanks and manifold new a little over 1 year ago. There is absolutely no rust or rough spots on them, inside or out. The reason that I'm selling them is that I took up CCR diving in January 2008 and they're just taking up space in the basement. I had them filled with trimix in mid-April, expecting to dive them and never did.

I'm asking $650 for them (OBO). This is a great set of tanks for tech and cave diving and they have a very versatile fill in them.

The tanks can be picked up in Kansas City, meet somewhere close to Kansas City, or we can also discuss shipping.

I've never sold gear on this board before, but my ebay handle is "divehabit", if you'd like to check on my rating.

I can be reached by PM or email at paul.ludwick@sbcglobal.net

Man, if I had the extra cash right now I'd be ALL over that since you're only a few hours south of me.

Good luck with the sale Paul.

I'm going to lower the asking price to $600. If that's still too high, make me a reasonable offer.

Are you willing to ship the setup? If so, how much would you charge?

Sure I'm willing to ship them. I sent you a PM with what I found out.

If they are shipped via UPS, they'll need to be broken down and the trimix released. If shipped, I'll ship the tanks in separate packages and the manifold and the bands in a third.

I may also be able to find separate transport for them in the KC area that is less expensive to the Dallas area, but it would take time to check. Something like Yellow Freight.

I can also drive toward Dallas or any other direction to meet.
