Dive boat for sale - Scuba Forum

This bad boy is a 1973 sportcraft with a 50hp merc. It is 15 ft long and has had the seats removed to make room for dive gear. It runs like a champ. It is not much for looks but who cares it is a way to get out on the water nice and cheap. It is located near Springfield MO and the starting price is 800$ boat motor and trailor.

I will try to get some up tomorrow. It is not much but it will get two divers and 4 tanks to a dive site and back. And has yet to leave me stranded

If the motor runs good, the motor alone is worth $800 bucks.

If I was more local, it would already be SOLD

Though this isn't the OP's boat in the pic, here's a pic of a 1973 Sportscraft 15 footer I found on Craigslist at this URL (FOR REFERENCE ONLY, Not same boat FYI)

so if similar, doesn't look like a bad boat

Yeah, worth the money I'm sure. I have a 1977 16' VIP with 85 hp motor and paid $1500 for boat, motor and trailer. So this would be half price.

The pic Mike S posted is the same boat just picture a good running 50 hp merc on the back of it. The interior is pretty much shot. It does have a couple home made tank holders. I realize the boat and trailer is not worth all that much but the motor is in good running condition, and this would make a good cheap dive boat for someone who is stuck shore diving. I will try to get some pics soon.
