Free Video Editing Software

There's a stripped-down tryout version of the video editing software I use from Pinnacle Software at THIS LINK that's free for the download.

It will give you a feel for the Studio series of software that Pinnacle makes, and you'll have a video file that is suitable for upload to YouTube when you finish with this. Please note that any video you want to edit with this software must already be imported onto your computer, possibly using the software that came with your camera-as free trialware, Videospin does not have the capability to import images from tape-based cameras like the fully functional Studio 11 software.

Obviously, they want you to buy the Studio 11 software after you get your feet wet with this program, but this is a great way to get yourself some video editing experience to see if it's something you want to try.
