That's what I like to do to as well! I did; however, make one dvd, with some video and a pic slide show that I used the new version of "Comfortably Numb." Can't remember which band remade it, but wow...it really worked with the pics!!!

Some songs i've used:
Tool: Lateralus---looks like i'm not the only fan of how Tool's sound mixes with the underwater world! Dean Martin: Heaven can wait Moby: Flowers Radiohead: Hunting Bears Each song is incredibly different, so depending on your mood, have fun with it! I love editing footage with music beds!

I've found the late Michael Hedges' music suits underwater video quite well. It's relaxing and interesting, like diving, and most people aren't familiar with it, so it doesn't draw attention to itself so much as enhance the video.
I wouldn't listen to it much otherwise, but I bought several albums just so I could use them this way. My ice dive video has some, if you want an example. |

I haven't done any underwater photography or video but was wondering, do any of you guys record audio while doing your underwater videos or do your own bubbles drown out most other sounds? I've done a couple of underwater audio recordings for clients but never got to see the finished product of how they were used. I actually did these before I was a diver using mics on poles or lowered on cables.
